Sam Jin

Sam Jin has a diverse work history in the field of technology. Sam is currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Pinlan, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at AI Prime as the Director of Product Management from June 2019 to January 2021, where they were responsible for overseeing the development and improvement of AI CCTV products.

Before joining AI Prime, Sam Jin served as a Sr Program Manager at MEGVII for almost a year, where they were in charge of the active stereo product, focusing on face recognition technology for AIOT and mobile applications. Sam successfully delivered the first active stereo solution for Android phones in the world.

Prior to their role at MEGVII, Sam Jin worked as a Customer Project Manager at Fingerprint Card AB from May 2015 to July 2018. Sam was responsible for managing fingerprint projects for Xiaomi and Lenovo, successfully integrating fingerprint recognition into the first Xiaomi phone and enabling additional features to secure more projects.

Sam Jin started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Huawei in 2011 and later worked as a Software Engineer at Gao Tong Co., Ltd. Sam then moved on to become a Senior Application Engineer at Ying Te Er before joining Fingerprint Card AB.

Overall, Sam Jin has a strong background in product management and technology development, with expertise in AI CCTV products, face recognition, fingerprint technology, and software engineering.

Sam Jin obtained a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Beijing Institute of Machinery from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2018.
