Derek Richard

Derek Richard is a skilled technical specialist at Pinnacle since June 2018, responsible for the overall work quality of project teams, including team training and quality management. Previously, as a project engineer, Derek managed client satisfaction and project execution for mechanical integrity and inspection services, supervising six direct reports to enhance efficiency and customer relations. Derek's earlier role as an asset integrity analyst involved developing a risk-based inspection program for a fertilizer plant. Prior experience includes serving as a water utilities designer II for the City of Beaumont, where project management improved the sanitary sewer system, and as a supervisor/research assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, leading research initiatives. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
