Bo Liu

Bo Liu is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Head of Online Infrastructure at Pinterest since March 2015, where leadership encompasses a team of six sub-teams responsible for core backend infrastructure. Prior roles include Senior Staff Engineer and Senior Engineering Manager, as well as a Software Engineer at Facebook, focusing on the TAO graph database system. Earlier positions include research fellowship at Nanyang Technological University, software engineering at FlexTrade, and lecturing at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Bo Liu holds a PhD in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and has also studied as a visiting student at Vanderbilt University. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Economics.
