Chris Xu

Chris Xu is currently the Head of Pinterest Infrastructure Data Science & Engineering, supporting a team of data scientists and data engineers. Previously, at Meta, Chris led data science for VR Growth & Engagement, significantly expanding the data team and fostering a data-driven culture. Prior to that, Chris served as a Data Science Manager at Instagram, launching products that generated substantial revenue, while mentoring fellow data scientists. Chris's earlier experience includes roles at Tradesy and Thrive Market, focusing on machine learning and recommendation systems. Chris studied Mathematics as a visiting student at the University of Oxford.
