Matthew May is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in the field of information security. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer for Detection & Response at Pinterest since December 2022, Matthew previously held roles at Palantir Technologies as an Information Security Engineer in the CIRT team and at IBM as a Senior Consultant for X-Force Incident Response & Intelligence Services. Earlier in their career, Matthew worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at South State Bank and SCANA Corporation. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky.
