Mehdi Ben Ayed

Mehdi Ben Ayed is a highly experienced machine learning engineer with a diverse background in software development and data processing. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Pinterest since September 2022, Mehdi previously held the position of Tech Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Spotify, where contributions included personalizing user experiences for hundreds of millions of users through advanced techniques such as Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning. Prior experience at Zynga involved significant achievements in developing RL Bakery, a library for Batch Deep Reinforcement Learning, and creating scalable systems that enhanced user engagement and handled immense data processing needs.
