Michael Williams is currently a Trust & Safety Manager for Pinterest, focusing on escalation operations. Previously, Michael held various roles, including Sr. Program Manager for Risk & Response at TikTok, where they led critical initiatives related to operational excellence and threat detection. Prior to TikTok, Michael worked as a Global Programs Lead and Program Manager for Uber's Global Security, managing strategic communications and internal reporting processes. Earlier experience includes program management at CRDF Global and UCP Wheels for Humanity, as well as research associate work with the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies. Michael earned a Master’s degree in International Security from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a double Bachelor’s degree in Law & Society and Art Studio from UC Santa Barbara.
