Xue Xia

Xue Xia is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pinterest, where they work on the TransAct: Transformer-based Realtime User Action Model for recommendations. Previously, Xue held positions at Intel, LinkedIn, and Carnegie Mellon University, contributing to various machine learning projects and research. They earned a Master’s degree in Intelligent Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University after completing undergraduate studies in Management Information Systems at Wuhan University. Xue has also interned at UCLA and served as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University.
