In 2009, they started their career as a New Technology Development Engineer at National Oilwell Varco, where they led the software product development for an IoT tracking system. In 2012, Dane co-founded Meshify and served as the President and later as the CEO. Under their leadership, the company achieved significant growth, secured funding, and eventually got acquired by HSB / Munich RE. From 2016 to 2018, Dane worked as the Head of Software at Central Texas Angel Network, facilitating investments in software startups and overseeing due diligence processes.
