Bobby Mareddy

Bobby Mareddy's work experience includes roles in various companies and positions since 2008. Bobby is currently an Engineering Manager at Pinwheel starting from February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Data & Analytics Lead at Pinwheel from January 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining Pinwheel, Bobby worked at Facebook as a Data Engineering, Messaging Safety professional from 2019 until 2021. In this senior IC role, they were responsible for developing and implementing safety features on Messenger and IG Direct. Bobby built an analytics layer to detect viral misinformation through message forwards and collaborated with product and data science teams to launch safe forwarding experiences. Bobby also led data engineering efforts to measure and analyze metrics for successful launch of Messaging Interoperability features. Bobby mentored junior team members during their time at Facebook.

From 2016 to 2019, Bobby was the Director of Data Engineering at Mastercard Data & Services (Applied Predictive Technologies). Prior to this, they worked at Applied Predictive Technologies as a Lead Data Engineer from 2014 to 2016 and as a Data Engineer from 2013 to 2014.

Bobby'searlier experience includes roles as an IT Graduate Assistant and Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Additionally, Bobby worked as an Enterprise Information Services Intern at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas from May 2012 to August 2012.

Bobby started their career at United Online, Inc. as a Software Engineer from 2008 to 2011 and later became a Senior Software Engineer from April 2011 to July 2011.

Bobby Mareddy has a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University. Bobby also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Andhra University. In addition to their formal education, Bobby has obtained several certifications, including "Computational Thinking for Problem Solving" from Coursera in February 2019, "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Coursera in December 2018, and "Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®" from the Project Management Institute in March 2012.
