Joseph Perry

Joseph Perry has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joseph most recently worked as a Software Engineer II at Pinwheel starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Software Engineer at Pinwheel from April 2021 to June 2023.

Before their role at Pinwheel, Joseph worked as a Software Engineer at ciphr.dev, where they co-created a platform for developers to share and solve coding algorithms. This app is currently in development and utilizes JavaScript, React, CSS, Node, Express, MongoDB, and Mongoose. Joseph was with ciphr.dev from November 2020 to April 2021.

Joseph also has experience as a Lab Technician at Golder from May 2019 to August 2020, where they assisted with laboratory work. Joseph worked as an Audio Engineer at Narnack Records in 2017 and as a RoHS Administrator at Mini-Circuits from November 2013 to April 2015.

Additionally, they worked as a Sound Technician at Good Room in 2015 and as a Lab Technician at the Plant Genome Mapping Laboratory from May 2010 to June 2012. In these roles, Joseph assisted with various scientific procedures, DNA electrophoresis, and genetic data compilation using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Their first work experience was as a Volunteer at Athens Regional Medical Center in 2009, where they spent time in both Supply Distribution Services and Endoscopy, assisting with tasks such as delivering medical supplies, patient transfer, clerical work, and patient assistance.

With a background in software engineering, laboratory work, and volunteering, Joseph Perry brings a diverse skill set and experience to their work.

Joseph Perry completed a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp Certificate from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry with pre-med from The University of Georgia between 2008 and 2011.
