Jannick Bendtsen

Jannick Bendtsen has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and consulting. Jannick'smost recent role is as the Co-founder and CEO of PipeBio, a company they established in 2020. Prior to that, in 2019, they worked as an Independent Consultant. From 2016 to 2019, Jannick served as the VP of Technology Services at Biomatters, where they led global efforts to bring the Geneious Biologics solution to the market. Jannick managed cross-functional teams and prioritized user-centric design. Before Biomatters, they held the position of Services Manager at Agilent Technologies in 2015 and Cartagenia from 2014 to 2016. Jannick has also worked at CLC bio, now part of QIAGEN, where they served as the Director of Consulting Solutions from 2008 to 2013. Jannick was responsible for building the consulting business and establishing strong relationships with customers. Additionally, they served as a Product Manager and played a pivotal role in the development and launch of the first commercial CLC bio product. Jannick started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark, where they focused on the development of subcellular prediction methods.

Jannick Bendtsen's education history includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned an MSc in Molecular Biology from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they studied from 1993 to 2000. Jannick'seducational journey started with a Matematisk Studentereksamen degree from Amtsgymnasiet i Paderup, which they completed from 1989 to 1992.
