Terrence Tan has a wealth of experience in software engineering, business intelligence, and application development. Terrence began their career in 2010 as a Computer Science Lab Assistant and Student Tech Trainer at Colby College. In 2012, they worked as a Business Intelligence Intern at Ingersoll Rand. In 2013, they were a TOS Collaboration Intern at U.S. Bank, where they developed website widgets for the IBM Connections 4.5 platform. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Senior Application Developer at UnitedHealth Group, where they created an application to automate matching rotation program applicants with available job positions, built an application using the MEAN technology stack, and worked on agile scrum teams. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer at ModCloth. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Maven Machines, where they used React and Redux to build customer-facing interfaces and performed multiple usability tests. Terrence is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Pipe17 for Ecommerce Operations.

Terrence Tan attended Eden Prairie High School from 2006 to 2010 and received their diploma. Terrence then attended Colby College from 2010 to 2014 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science.
