Derek Wells

Derek Wells has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Derek started their career as a Doorman/Bellstand Manager at Cliffs Resort in 2008 and worked there until 2012. Following this, they worked as an Insurance Agent at Bankers Life from 2012 to 2014.

In 2013, Derek joined MINDBODY, Inc. as an Account Executive and held this position for five years. During their time there, they built strong relationships with clients and contributed to the company's sales growth.

In 2018, Derek took on a new challenge as the Director of Sales at Worksana. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they were laid off in 2020. In this role, they effectively managed day-to-day sales operations, reported sales team performance to the CEO and investors, trained and coached the sales staff, and developed and implemented sales processes.

After Worksana, Derek joined Core Spaces + Design as an Account Executive in 2020 and worked there until 2021. Their responsibilities included managing client accounts and driving sales growth.

From 2021 to 2023, Derek held the position of VP of Sales at CheddrSuite. Derek played a vital role in developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue for the company.

Currently, Derek is serving as the Sales Manager at PipeDreams, starting in 2023. In this role, they are responsible for leading the sales team and achieving sales targets.

Throughout their career, Derek has demonstrated strong sales and leadership skills, contributing to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked for.

Derek Wells attended Cuesta College from 2004 to 2007, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Derek obtained multiple certifications in various fields, including the Sandler Sales Bronze Certification from Sandler Training, the Sales Enablement Certification, the Social Media Marketing Certification, and the HubSpot Sales Software Certification from HubSpot. Additionally, they obtained several Google Ads certifications, such as the Google Ads Display Certification, Google Ads Measurement Certificate, Google Ads Search Certification, and Google Ads Video Certification. Derek also holds the Google Analytics Individual Qualification Certificate from Google Analytics for Business.
