Dan Laufer

Dan Laufer has a diverse range of work experience, spanning from 2006 to the present. Dan is currently the CEO of PipeDreams since January 2021. Previously, they worked at Nextdoor as the Head of Growth and Product Marketing from August 2019 to November 2020. Before that, they held the position of Director of Growth and Partnerships from September 2017 to August 2019, and Growth Marketing Lead from September 2016 to September 2017.

Dan was also the Co-founder and CEO of RentLingo, a successful company that was acquired. Dan held this position from 2012 until November 2020. During their tenure, RentLingo became a market leader in location intelligence and expert apartment reviews, serving over 400K visitors per month.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Dan attended Stanford Graduate School of Business from 2011 to 2013. Dan also gained experience at Mitchell International, where they served as the Director of Strategy, Analytics, and Operations from August 2010 to June 2011, and as a Product Manager from November 2009 to August 2010.

Dan's career began at Bain & Company, a global consulting firm, where they worked as a Senior Associate Consultant from July 2006 to November 2009. Dan'sresponsibilities included creating complex data models, managing large databases, benchmarking external organizations, and collaborating with clients on strategy development.

Lastly, Dan briefly worked as the Finance Director for Kosmas For Congress in 2008.

Dan Laufer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued an MBA at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2011 to 2013.
