Director of Systems Integration at Piper Networks

Tim Ghio has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tim started their career as a Web Producer at PaperLoop, Inc. in 2000, where they worked until 2003. From 2005 to 2007, Tim served as a Designer and Web Producer at Ozone Online. Tim then joined Momentum Design Lab as a UI Designer/Developer & Product Manager, where they worked from 2007 until 2010.

In 2011, Tim joined Havas as a Senior Web Developer, where they were responsible for leading and developing front-end projects and implementing custom tagging using Omniture and Google for analytics. Tim worked at Havas until August 2011.

From 2012 to 2012, Tim worked as a Senior Web/Mobile Developer at Viscira, where they collaborated with team members to create HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. Tim also played a role in delivering final files to clients for testing and approval.

In 2013, Tim held several roles including Senior Front-End Developer at 24 Seven Inc., where they provided consulting services for Walmart's e-commerce group. Tim also worked as a Freelance Front-End Developer at TravelSmith and as a Front-End Developer at Thismoment Inc.

Since 2014, Tim has been working at Piper Networks as the Director of Systems Integration. In this role, they have utilized their knowledge of human factors and software integration to work on projects related to public transportation and RTLS sectors. Tim has been responsible for field surveys, installation supervision, and design for both wayside and carborne products. Notably, they have worked on a key project for NYCT to prove the viability of UWB as a train signaling and CBTC sensor package.

Tim Ghio attended Platt College-San Diego from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in Graphic Design / Multimedia. Tim focused on the field of study of Graphic Design during their time at the college.
