Sam Sharp

Sam Sharp is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Principal at Peak Development Group since January 2025, Sam has also held significant roles at Piper Sandler as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Special District Group since November 2020. Prior to this, Sam spent over two decades at D.A. Davidson & Co. as Managing Director of the Special District Group. Early career experience includes a role as Administrative Assistant at JFCS, a non-profit organization serving the Jewish community in San Francisco. Sam's academic background includes a Master of Public Administration in Public Finance from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Politics from Occidental College.
