Founded in 2011, PiQ2 develops and supports software solutions for die casting and foundry industries.The solutions developed by PiQ2 are based on a revolutionary concept for the world of software used in process simulation applications: the co-existence, within a single piece of software of advanced mathematical calculations based on the laws of physics and the development teams’ many years of practical foundry experience.
It is therefore a tool that combines the theory of casting, governed by the laws of physics with the practical experience coming from the foundry. The numeric results of the simulations are compared with practical experience and presented in a way that is easy to understand for those familiar with the process, while providing warnings of critical areas and suggestions that will improve the project and/or process.
