PIQSTAR INC is a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) building a civic utility we call Civic Mass Media Infrastructure a modern, hyper-local, interest-based broadcasting ecosystem designed to restore community-owned media, expand public access, and strengthen civic engagement.

Powered by our parent media platform, Exposure Plus TV, PIQSTAR enables communities, municipalities, journalists, producers, and local businesses to distribute live and pre-recorded television programming across all smart TVs, mobile devices, and the global web. Our mission is practical and public: increase equitable access to media, amplify community voices, and modernize how local stories reach the world. Through PIQSTAR’s Resurgence for Journalists Project, we support sustainable pathways for displaced and student journalists to cover the news, politics, and lived realities shaping their communities. Through Economic Liberation for Producers & Creatives, we help television and film producers bring local-interest programming to market films, documentaries, sitcoms, talk shows, game shows, and other TV-ready formats.

PIQSTAR’s flagship civic access initiative also expands digital attendance for government-held public events supporting residents who cannot attend in person due to work schedules, disability, mobility barriers, childcare, or transportation limitations. We exist to help the public sector meet its fiduciary responsibility to the public by increasing visibility, transparency, and access.
