Ben Matern

Ben Matern is a Director of Bioinformatics at Pirche and a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist. Previously, Ben worked as a Bioinformatics Post-Doctoral Researcher at UMC Utrecht, a Bioinformatics PhD Candidate at Maastricht UMC+, and a Bioinformatics Intern at NMDP: BeTheMatch. Ben also has experience as a Programmer/Analyst at Midwest Family Mutual. Ben holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from Maastricht University Medical Center, a Master of Science in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
