Simone Akehurst is an experienced engineer with a background in aerospace and automotive industries. Currently serving as a Tyre Test Engineer at Pirelli since November 2018, Akehurst previously held the position of Design Engineer at WHITELAW TECHNOLOGY LTD from November 2017 to September 2018, and worked as an Aerospace Design & Development Engineer at AD Aerospace from November 2016 to October 2017. Early experiences include serving as a University Officer Cadet in the British Army from September 2011 to June 2012, where Akehurst achieved MOD1 qualification and gained leadership and practical training skills.
