Vikram Sekhon is the founder and CEO of Piston and the founder of Pear X at Pear VC. They were Chief Operating Officer at Prologics Inc (2017–2020) and Head of Business Development at Beans.ai (2020–2024), and they founded Urbanlytics (2018–2019). Earlier in their career, they held roles at Applied Materials (Electrical Engineer, Staff Electrical Engineer, Product Line Manager, and Electrical Engineering Intern) from 2005 to 2006, and were an Engineering Intern at Catalyst Semiconductor (2004–2005). They earned a BS in Electrical Engineering (2002–2006) and an MS in Electrical Engineering (2006–2008) from Santa Clara University, and an AAS from De Anza College (2001–2002). They attended St. George's College High School.
