Kyle Bland

Kyle Bland has a diverse work experience in various roles. Kyle began their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of La Verne from December 2013 to May 2015. Later, they joined Pepperdine University in January 2015 as the Associate Director for Advancement Analytics. In this role, they led the Data-Driven Decision-Making committee and developed Excel models with VBA Macros, reducing portfolio sizes by over 40%. In September 2018, Kyle worked as a Data Analyst, where they developed database solutions, created activity trackers and conducted market research using the Google Suite. Kyle then became an Independent Financial Consultant at Hytech Finishing from July 2014 to October 2014, analyzing financial statements and adjusting product prices based on seasonal trends. Most recently, Kyle has been the Director of Data Analytics and Research at Pitcher List since June 2022, where they developed a Pitch Level Value model to quantify the quality of MLB pitchers' pitches and analyze hitters' abilities. Apart from their professional roles, they also served as an Assistant Coach at Jackson Hole Classical Academy from September 2021 to February 2023.

Kyle Bland's education history starts with their high school studies at Upland High School, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Kyle then enrolled at Pepperdine University in 2009 and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sports Medicine in 2013. Following this, Kyle pursued further education at the University of La Verne, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Information Technology from 2013 to 2015.
