David Metcalfe

David Metcalfe is an experienced Electronic Engineer currently working at PitPat since September 2025. Prior to this role, David served as an Electronics Engineer at Owlstone Medical from January 2015 to September 2025 and was the Chief Technology Officer at Light Green Power from August 2012 to December 2014. David's earlier experience includes positions as a Design Engineer at Bruel & Kjaer Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S from July 2008 to August 2012, a Power Supply Designer at XP Power from October 2004 to June 2008, and a Graduate Engineer at Powertron from September 2000 to October 2004. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Newcastle University, completed in 2000, and A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Design and Technology from St Mary's 6th Form College.
