Matthew Storkey

Matthew Storkey has been working in the technology industry since 1999. In 2015, they became the Founder & CTO of Pitpatpet Ltd and a Partner at Cambridge Thinking Ltd. Prior to this, they were the VP Engineering, Technical Authority, R&D Manager, and Technology Developer at Sentec Ltd. As the Technical Authority, they were the technical architect and design authority for development across the company activities. As the R&D Manager, they chaired the research and development group and was responsible for deciding strategy and managing operations for internal developments. As the Technology Developer, they were involved in technology development and product design engineering, working on internal research and development for licensing and spin-out company formation as well as technology consultancy for clients.

Matthew Storkey obtained a Batchelor of Arts (BA) in Physics from the University of Oxford between 1992 and 1995. Matthew then completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Optics from Imperial College London between 1995 and 1996, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the same institution between 1996 and 2000. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Open University between 2009 and 2013.
