Simone Bruni

Simone Bruni is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the fluid power industry, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at PIUSI spa since May 2022. Prior roles include Head of Engineering Fluid Power at Dana Brevini Motion Systems from July 2018 to May 2022 and Engineering Responsible at Bosch Rexroth Oil Control, where Simone was the design lead for counterbalance and motion control valves for mobile applications from April 2007 to July 2018. Earlier career achievements include positions as Project Designer at INTERPUMP HYDRAULICS SPA and Idraulica Sighinolfi Albano s.r.l., specializing in the design of pumps, directional control valves, and hydraulic cylinders. Simone holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia and a diploma in Industrial Engineering from Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale “Fermo Corni” di Modena, complemented by a qualification diploma in mechanical repair of motor vehicles.
