Matthew Potthoff

Matthew Potthoff has a diverse work experience in the gaming and esports industry. Matthew currently holds the position of Director, Gaming & Esports at PIVOT Agency since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at eUnited, where they served as the GM & VP of Esports from November 2019 to December 2022. In this role, they reported gaming trends, performance metrics, and data analytics to stakeholders and strategized new games to enter the market. Matthew also built relationships with developers to form mutually beneficial partnerships. Before their role as GM & VP of Esports, they served as a General Manager at eUnited from June 2016 to November 2019. Matthew was responsible for player and team acquisitions and successfully contracted over 200 players and staff combined in the esports industry.

Before joining eUnited, Matthew worked as an Internet Marketing Consultant at Fuel Web Marketing from June 2013 to May 2014. Additionally, they served as a Marketing/Brand Ambassador at Gamma Labs from September 2012 to September 2013, where they promoted GFuel through social media marketing and finding the right team to represent the brand. Matthew began their career in the gaming industry as an Entertainment Business Student at Full Sail University. Matthew achieved a Bachelor's Degree in only 21 months by attending classes 6 days a week for 4-8 hours a day, working closely with industry professionals.

Matthew Potthoff obtained their high school diploma from Francis Howell High School between 2006 and 2010. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, completing it in the years 2010 to 2013.
