Carrie Grant has a diverse work experience in the field of design and communications. Carrie is currently working at Pivot as a Senior Designer since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Designer at the same company from September 2021 to October 2022. Before joining Pivot, Carrie ran their own design business called Carrie Lee Grant Design since January 2010. Carrie enjoys working with clients from various industries and sharing their design expertise.
Carrie also has experience in the non-profit sector, specifically with the Children's Cancer Association (CCA). Carrie served as a Senior Brand Designer from November 2019 to September 2021, a Brand Designer from June 2018 to November 2019, and a Graphic Design Specialist from July 2015 to June 2018. In their role at CCA, they created various print and digital graphics for internal communication and fundraising events. Carrie was also involved in an Innovation Accelerator team focused on serving teens and young adults.
In addition, Carrie worked as the Director of Communications at FixnZip from September 2014 to July 2015, where they handled communication efforts for the company. Carrie also held the position of Director of Communications at New Hope Community Church from November 2007 to July 2015. In this role, they oversaw communication efforts for the church and its ministries, including web, social media, branding, and special events. Carrie enjoyed planning events, sermon series, and working with a passionate team.
Carrie's earlier experience includes working as a Graphic Design Intern at New Hope Community Church from December 2004 to November 2007. In this role, they provided graphic design support for the Youth Department and assisted with the transition to a new website.
Carrie Grant obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from Portland State University. Carrie attended the university from 2002 to 2007.
