Tocia Johnson

Tocia Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tocia began their career at the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) in 1995, where they worked as a Special Projects & Meeting Coordinator until 2003. Following this, they joined NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association in 2004, where they held the position of Program Supervisor/Education Coordinator. During their time there, they managed various division conferences, webinars, and events, oversaw event registration and logistics, and efficiently communicated with division contractors.

In 2008, Tocia moved on to Pivot Media, LLC, starting as a Program Manager and later transitioning into a Telecompetitor Program Manager at Pivot. In these roles, they utilized their marketing and management skills to direct web-based marketing campaigns, maintain brand consistency, establish marketing project processes, and lead all aspects of meeting management.

Most recently, Tocia joined Pivot in 2019 as a Telecompetitor Operations Manager. This role demonstrates their growth within the company, as they previously held positions of Telecompetitor Account Executive and Telecompetitor Program Manager. As the Telecompetitor Operations Manager, Tocia is responsible for overseeing operational activities, ensuring smooth telecommunication operations, and implementing effective strategies for success.

Tocia Johnson began their education journey in 2017 at Northern Virginia Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management. This period lasted until 2019. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2021, Tocia attended Old Dominion University, where they studied Finance, General and obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
