Jean Castruita

Jean Castruita is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in instructional consulting and higher education. Currently serving as a Consultant at InnovateEd since August 2018 and holding the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California since March 2013, Jean has also contributed as a Consultant for AVID Center and Pivot Learning Partners since 2011 and 2010, respectively. Previously, Jean was the District and School Improvement Coordinator for the San Diego County Office of Education from 2001 to 2010, where support was provided to high school principals and teacher leadership teams in identifying best practices in teaching and learning. Jean began a career in educational leadership as a High School Administrator at GUHSD from 1998 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from UCI and UCLA.
