Pivot Ministry is a community-based organization dedicated to empowering low-income women to pursue better life and work opportunities through mentorship, education, and supportive relationships. Rooted in faith and community, Pivot creates spaces where women can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually while building the confidence and skills needed for long-term stability and success.

Our mission is to empower women who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives. Participants commit to a transformative journey that includes weekly classes focused on life skills, job readiness, and Bible study, paired with one-on-one Christian mentorship. Through small-group learning and trusted community relationships, women are supported as they develop new perspectives, strengthen their abilities, and build sustainable pathways forward.

Pivot’s approach is grounded in asset-based development. Rather than focusing on deficits, we build upon the strengths, talents, and resilience that women already possess. Participants engage in a supportive learning environment that encourages accountability, personal growth, and leadership within their own communities.

Collaboration is central to our work. Pivot partners with more than 50 community organizations to connect women with resources, training opportunities, and support systems. By linking participants to existing programs rather than duplicating services, we strengthen the broader ecosystem of care and opportunity across our community.
