Davide Cucci

Davide Cucci is a highly skilled professional in the fields of research and engineering, currently serving as a Senior R&D Engineer at Pix4D since July 2022. As a Co-Founder of Birra Muttnik Srl, an Italian craft beer company, Davide has been involved in entrepreneurship since July 2016. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Researcher at the University of Geneva, focusing on stochastic modeling of inertial sensors for navigation and robotics applications. Davide also worked as a Project and Technical Manager at MindEarth, where machine learning was applied to map degraded neighborhoods in sub-Saharan Africa, and served as a Short Term Consultant for The World Bank, leading crowd mapping projects. Additionally, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at EPFL, expertise was developed in photogrammetry, 3D modeling, and sensor fusion for high accuracy mapping applications. Davide holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in the same field, both from Politecnico di Milano.
