Dinis Canastro

Dinis Canastro is a software engineer with experience in various companies. In Instituto de Telecomunicações, they worked as a Research Initiate, optimizing the linux environment for low-power hardware. At Nokia, they served as a Software Engineer, working on migration, integration, and testing of network adapters. Dinis also worked as a Part-Time Researcher for University of Aveiro, researching unstructured log processing for zero-touch networks. At Teralytics, they worked as a Software Engineer in a startup environment, facing challenges in big data and geospatial algorithms, and enhancing the backend for traffic and mobility data insights. Dinis will join Pix4D in 2023 as an Engenheiro de software.

Dinis Canastro earned a Master's degree in Computer and Telematics Engineering from the Universidade de Aveiro between 2015 and 2021. In addition, Dinis has obtained various certifications, including a certification in Discover the XR Interaction Toolkit for VR from Zenva in April 2023, Functional Programming in Scala from Coursera in August 2022, and various certifications related to machine learning, agile methodologies, and Kubernetes and Scrum basics from LinkedIn and Coursera in 2021.
