Yvan Bourquin

Yvan Bourquin is a seasoned C++ Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development across various industries. At Pix4D since February 2013, Yvan specializes in creating desktop software for photogrammetry and 3D editing, focusing on user interfaces, web synchronization, and license systems. Previous experience includes a role at Cyberbotics Ltd. from 2006 to 2012, contributing to commercial robot simulation software and European Union research projects, and work at EPFL from 2004 to 2006 on robotic simulation software for educational purposes. Additionally, Yvan has developed innovative software for visualizing website structures at the University of Geneva and computer-guided surgery systems at the MEM Research Center for Orthopaedic Surgery. Yvan's academic background includes an M.Sc. in Evolutionary and Adaptive Systems from the University of Sussex and a B.Eng. in Computer Science from Berner Fachhochschule BFH.
