Matis Ringdal has a diverse work experience. In 2018, they were the CEO & Co-Founder of Pixacare. In 2017, they were the COO & Co-Fondateur of Kagette, a startup launched with two partners (ESSEC and an engineer from SUPAERO) that provided artisanal food products to high-end restaurants. In 2016, they were awarded both the jury and public prize at the Google Innovation Summer Camp, a startup innovation competition organized by Google and Paris Saclay, for their project "Saint Bernard" which used geolocation to track people with Alzheimer's disease via a paired beacon and mobile application. In 2016, they were a Junior Analyst Biotech at Vesale Conseil. In 2015, they were a Project Manager for Biotechnologies at Junior UPMC Conseil and a Hospital Intern at the AP-HP, Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris.

Matis Ringdal obtained a Licence de biologie fondamentale from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2015. Matis then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Innovation technologique : ingénieurie et entrepreneuriat from École Polytechnique in 2017. In 2016, they completed the Entrepreneurship Program from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they obtained a CAPM-Project Management Certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2015, and a GESTION DE PROJET from MOOC Gestion de projet : page “entreprise” in September 2015.
