Derek Beck is a skilled professional in lighting and compositing with extensive experience in the animation industry. Currently serving as a LightSpeed TD at Pixar Animation Studios since November 2022, Derek previously worked as a Lighting & Compositing Artist at DreamWorks Animation and Element X. Notable contributions include lighting and rendering for the VR animated short “Baba Yaga” at Baobab Studios and creating light rigs and optimizing scenes for feature film productions at MPC.
