Jay Ward has been a key figure at Pixar Animation Studios since December 1998, currently serving as the Creative Director of Franchise and as the Creative Director and Legacy Guardian for the Cars franchise. In this role, Jay provides direction and support for various Cars-related projects, collaborating with internal and external teams on consumer products, interactive games, theme parks, marketing, and ancillary initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Art Department Manager in Feature Film Production and Managing Editor for Hop Up Magazine from 2007 to 2009. Jay Ward earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from California College of the Arts between 1989 and 1993.
