Grant Storry

Grant Storry has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Grant is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Pixel Union, a position they assumed in May 2021, after serving as the General Manager Themes from March 2020 to April 2021. Prior to Pixel Union, Grant Storry worked as a Consultant (Product, Operations, Leadership) at Grant Storry Consulting, starting in May 2000. Grant has extensive experience in product and marketing executive roles across startups, high growth companies, and Fortune 500 enterprises.

Before joining Pixel Union and establishing their consulting firm, Grant Storry held key leadership positions at WeCommerce as the Chief Operating Officer from September 2019 to March 2020, and at Tiny as the Vice President Operations from December 2018 to August 2019. Grant also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Go2mobi from September 2017 to November 2018, where they provided leadership across various teams and guided strategic alignment.

Grant Storry's earlier experiences include roles such as Vice President Emerging Products at Beanstream from October 2015 to January 2017, where they drove mobile payment innovation and participated in the divestment from Digital River. Grant then joined Bambora as the Head of Marketing North America from August 2015 to January 2017, where they established the marketing team and go-to-market strategy.

In 2010, Grant Storry co-founded Bet Smart Media Inc., an internet technology start-up focused on creating innovative sports gaming apps for mobile and web platforms. Grant was also a Director Mobile Products at Digital River from May 2014 to September 2015, where they completed the first EMV certification of a mobile Ingenico payment terminal in Canada.

Throughout their career, Grant Storry has demonstrated their expertise in product development, marketing, operations, and leadership. Grant has helped organizations achieve growth and transformation through their strategic vision and ability to guide teams towards achieving their goals.

Grant Storry attended the University of Victoria from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Commerce. Grant'sfield of study during this time focused on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business. In addition to their degree, Grant has also completed the Story Skills Workshop at Seth Godin's Akimbo Workshops in September 2020 and the Pragmatic Marketing certification from Pragmatic Marketing in April 2014.
