Lead Game Designer at Pixels

Ben Exworthy has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Ben started their career as a Multimedia Graphic Designer at FX Multimedia, where they worked on multiple projects for notable clients such as Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Coca-Cola. Ben then joined DNA Studio as a Multimedia Graphic Designer, creating websites and campaigns for major studios and consumer brands.

In 1992, Ben joined Microsoft as a Digital Artist, contributing to various projects for almost six years. Ben later co-founded GameHouse, LLC, where they served as Founder and Creative Director. Under their leadership, GameHouse became a key player in the casual games industry and was eventually acquired by RealNetworks. Ben oversaw the creative development of over 75 games, including the award-winning Collapse!.

In 2003, Ben became the Managing Owner of Ishkabibble, LLC, overseeing the renovation of a commercial building in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square neighborhood. Ben then ventured into the gaming industry again, becoming the Owner of PLAYlive Nation, operating franchise lounge-style Xbox-driven arcades.

Ben's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Agnabbit, LLC, where they managed a collection of mid-century art photography and sculpture. Ben also co-founded Loob Corp, a novelty personal lubrication manufacturing and lifestyle business.

Most recently, Ben joined Pixels as the Lead Game Designer. With their strong background in the gaming industry and creative problem-solving skills, they are poised to make a significant impact at the company.

Ben Exworthy obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Columbus College of Art & Design. Ben attended the college from 1986 to 1990.
