Kimoto Daisuke

Kimoto Daisuke has a varied work experience spanning several companies. Kimoto started their career in 2003 at RICOH Company Limited, where they worked in the Intellectual Property Department, focusing on discovering and prosecuting inventions related to computer software and communication technology. After three years at RICOH, they joined KYOWA PATENT AND LAW OFFICE in 2006 as a Japanese Patent Attorney, specializing in computer software, ICT, and electronics. In this role, they were involved in prosecuting Japanese and foreign patent applications and providing expert opinions on Japanese patent rights.

In 2013, Daisuke moved to GLOBAL IP Tokyo, where they worked as an Associate and Japanese Patent Attorney until 2018. During their time at GLOBAL IP Tokyo, they acquired experience in handling Japanese patent applications and further developed their expertise as a patent attorney.

Since 2018, Daisuke has been working at Pixie Dust Technologies, Inc. as an Intellectual Property Manager. This role has allowed him to utilize their knowledge and experience in managing intellectual property matters within the company.

Additionally, from April 2021 to April 2022, Daisuke held the position of "人事マネージャー" (Human Resources Manager) at Pixie Dust Technologies, Inc.

Kimoto Daisuke has a strong educational background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Kimoto then pursued further studies and completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) from Sophia University between 2001 and 2003. Beyond their formal education, Daisuke also obtained a certification as a Japanese Patent Attorney from the Japanese patent prosecution institution in April 2006.
