Matteo Barale

Matteo Barale has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2012 when they were an Intern and Design Engineering Coordinator at CHRIS BANGLE ASSOCIATES SRL. Matteo then moved to Comau in 2014 where they held a role in Project and People management. In 2017, they were a Co-Founder and Design Strategy Lead at ETRA PROJECT and a Research Collaborator and Tutor accademico at Politecnico di Torino. In 2018, they were a Research Development Lead at Scribit. In 2019, they were a Resident Fellow and Technical Sales Specialist at Autodesk, as well as Co-CEO and Chief Product Officer at PIX Moving. In 2020, they became a Visiting Lecturer at Stanford University, and in 2021 they became a Startup Mentor at Plug and Play Tech Center.

Matteo Barale obtained a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria meccanica from Politecnico di Torino between 2011 and 2014. In 2020, they completed a Future City Bootcamp at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the field of Architettura. Prior to that, they obtained a Laurea Triennale in Ingegneria meccanica from Politecnico di Torino between 2007 and 2011. Matteo is currently enrolled in a GIP in Entrepreneurship at the University of California, Berkeley, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
