Tom Howie has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2001. In 2001, they were hired as SVP Sales and Marketing at OAO Technology Solutions, where they were tasked with restructuring sales and marketing operations and managing a $3.6M budget. In 2002, they co-founded KAnalytics, a developer of innovative technologies based on the SharePoint platform, and established the company's operating infrastructure and directed strategic marketing, sales, and customer relationships. In 2006, they were hired as VP Professional Services at Mainline Information Systems to institute a solutions selling approach, revitalize Professional Services, and reverse a shrinking hardware margin trend. In 2014, they were recruited to BlueAlly as SVP Professional Services to lead sales and business development, design and roll out programs, train sales teams, forge strategic partnerships, identify prospects, craft proposals, and negotiate and close deals for end-to-end managed services. In 2017, they started their own consulting business, T Howie Consulting, to help businesses overcome sales and marketing challenges. Finally, in 2018, they became COO of Pixspan, a company that provides the fastest data acceleration for moving large forms of data of any type and size to, from, and within the Cloud.
Tom Howie received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing from the University of South Alabama. Tom also completed the IBM Executive Consulting Institute program and the IBM Executive Management Program from 1989 to 1991.
