Pascal Rubini's work experience includes roles in various companies. From 1993 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at WinSoft International, where they focused on C/C++ development, internationalization, and support for complex writing systems. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Freelance Software Developer, working on scientific software optimization, coding new features, and interface reworking. In 2015, they joined Inria as an Innovation Support Engineer, where they worked on brain MRI image analysis, automated testing, and multi-platform application maintenance. Since 2017, they have been at Pixyl, first as a Senior Software Engineer, developing an MRI image processing pipeline using Python, C++, and TensorFlow, and later as a Research and Development Scientist, designing AI models and algorithms for medical imaging, collaborating on clinical studies, and product specification.
Pascal Rubini completed their education in Computer Science with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Grenoble INP - UGA, graduating in 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a DEA degree in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA in 1989. Before entering the doctoral program, Pascal completed their MST Expert en Systèmes Informatiques degree at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 1986 to 1988. Pascal began their educational journey by earning a DUT degree in Computer Science from Université Pierre Mendès-France (Grenoble II) in 1986.
