Pizza John’s has been proudly serving the Essex, Maryland community since 1966 — making us a local tradition for nearly 60 years. Family-owned and operated across three generations, we've grown from a small neighborhood pizzeria into one of the area’s most recognized and beloved restaurants.

Today, Pizza John’s offers seating for over 300 guests and ample parking, making us a welcoming gathering place for families, friends, and longtime customers who return year after year. We’ve built our reputation on quality, consistency, and old-school hospitality — serving handcrafted pizza and Italian-American favorites made fresh every day.

In addition to our full-service restaurant, we also offer private events, catering services, and wholesale partnerships — allowing us to bring the Pizza John’s experience beyond our walls and into homes, businesses, and special celebrations throughout the region.

Our mission is simple:
To provide great food and genuine service in a space where generations can gather, celebrate, and feel at home.

We are proud to be a part of Essex history — and even prouder to keep that legacy alive for the next generation.

Come for the food. Stay for the legacy.
