A world made happier by pizza!

When our founder, Peter, visited London in 1965 and realized that pizza didn’t exist there, he soon returned— a man on a mission— armed with a pizza oven from Napoli and a chef from Sicily. And when the oven was too big to fit through the door of his first restaurant on London’s Wardour Street, he rounded up friends to help him knock the wall down. With the oven in place, Peter created a menu of deliciously simple pizza recipes & more.
50 years on, we’ve taken some of these classic recipes and fine-tuned the flavors even further to give you a delicious taste of tradition.

We’re obsessed about serving you the most beautiful best-in-class, authentic, Italian, hand-tossed gourmet pizzas, flavourful appetisers, pastas, desserts, refreshing drinks and fresh Italian coffee in town. That means using only the best ingredients, our chefs (we call them Pizzaiolos), and recipes to hand-make every single order. The result? A menu that’s mouth-watering to read, and even better to eat. The PizzaExpress experience doesn’t end here. Service is informal in style, but never casual in substance. Surrounded by stylish designs and great locations, our restaurants are the perfect environments for feeding great conversations.

We have over 600 restaurants in 13 countries. India is seen as a key market with sites across Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Mohali. PizzaExpress proudly operates 28 restaurants in India, reflecting our commitment to serving delicious pizzas worldwide.
