Simon Upton

Simon Upton is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PJ SOLOMON. He joined the firm in 2021.

Mr. Upton joined PJ SOLOMON following a 21-year career at Credit Suisse, where he was the Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Banking & Capital Markets Division. Prior to that, Mr. Upton held senior investment banking technology and operations roles at Credit Suisse, including Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). In his role as COO of PJ SOLOMON, he leads and oversees the firm’s finance, information technology, legal, compliance and operations functions, which report to him directly.

Mr. Upton graduated from the University of Plymouth (UK) with a B.S. in Computing & Informatics. He holds FINRA 7 and 24 licenses.
