David Borden

David Borden has extensive experience in the field of information technology. David currently serves as the Senior Director of Information Systems at PKWARE, where they lead the ITOps, DevOps, and SecOps teams. David'sresponsibilities include driving the modernization of IAM, endpoint management, vulnerability management, network, security, and compliance initiatives. Prior to this role, David held the position of Sr Director of Information Technology at Fusion Anesthesia Solutions, where they successfully migrated the organization to Office 365 services and rebuilt onprem servers to Azure. David also worked as a Senior Enterprise Architect at Northwestern Mutual and as an IT Infrastructure Manager and Systems Administrator at National Business Furniture. Earlier in their career, David held roles such as Systems Administrator, Desktop Analyst, and Help Desk Analyst at Froedtert Hospital. David started their career as an Information Technology Intern at Metavante and PKWARE.

David Borden attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Management Information Systems with a focus on Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, David has also obtained various certifications. David became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance in April 2020, obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020, and achieved the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification, also from AWS, in March 2020. Most recently, in April 2023, David obtained the Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) certification from (ISC)².
