Patrick Heelan

As VP of Logistics, Pat oversees all activities within PLD’s warehouses, which encompasses distribution of finished products to their customers, inventory control and all costs related to transportation, including annual transportation spend, annual bids, contract negotiation and budgeting. Additionally, he is responsible for the implementation of process improvements within warehouse operations and technology utilizing Oracle Transportation Management system (OTM) and Oracle Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Pat also manages new building startups from building selection, racking, systems implementation, process and material flow and labor utilization. During his almost 20 years in Transportation and Distribution Management, Pat has held positions of increasing responsibility at other pharmaceutical and packaging companies.
