Ross Clawson is currently the CFO at PLACE. Prior to their current position, Ross Clawson was the President and CFO of The Homax Group from January 1993 to November 2014. The Homax Group is a manufacturer and distributor of leading brands in the DIY industry including Homax, Goo Gone, Black Flag, Magic American, and Stone Care International. Ross Clawson was responsible for successfully transitioning The Homax Group from its founder to ownership by two successive private equity groups. In July 2014, Ross Clawson led PPG Industries, a Fortune 200 company, through the acquisition of The Homax Group. Ross Clawson has also previous experience working at BKCO Mortgage and Ben Kinney Companies.

Ross Clawson pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at UC Santa Barbara before continuing their education at the University of California, Berkeley. There, they obtained their degree in the same field.
