Stephen Dorrell

Stephen Dorrell is an experienced director and leader with a significant background in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Director at Omnes Group Ltd since January 2020, Dorrell also holds the position of Chair at Dorson Group and has been a Trustee at Place2Be since 2014. Further expertise includes a directorial role at LaingBuisson and previous chairmanship at the NHS Confederation from November 2015 to November 2019. Dorrell's extensive political career includes serving as a Member of Parliament from January 1979 to January 2015, highlighted by the role of Chair of the House of Commons Health Committee from 2010 to 2014 and Secretary of State for Health from 1995 to 1997. Dorrell holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Oxford.
